Beautiful Light

We were only given 2 days to do this project (and of course it was assigned on the 2 busiest days of my busiest week...) but I did manage to get something out of it. Besides, it gave me an excuse to bring my camera to school.

Note: I had quite a bit of fun editing these.

I love clouds...

This is my favorite. The lighting is from a cell phone.

Senses Photography

What started out as a project exploring the senses soon turned into a session of food photography, but I believe the idea was still conveyed.

Infrared Landscapes

As a part of the landscapes project we were assigned, we were asked that for every photo we took on film, we take one of the same subject digitally. We used photoshop to make the digital images infrared. I took the digital images with my phone camera though because let's face it, carrying around 2 large cameras at church is just a little bit ridiculous. My bag can only hold so much! Nevertheless, I am happy with the results.

This one is my favorite.

Scanner Art

No, I was not just fooling around during class. Yes, this was an actual assignment. That doesn't, however, mean that I had no fun with it (because I most definitely did!) Observe:

Smile!

Frown!

The sliiiide!

Sleeping.

The eye stretch.

The mouth stretch.

Angry Man!

Big-eyed.

More big eyes

My favorite...

The (failed) nose stretch.

Arguments.

Intimidation.

Yes. A fun time was had by all today.

Intimate Portraits

I took many of my photos while in Ashland with the thespians, which provided great photo opportunities. My take on this project was that I could get the most intimate shots by catching people in their natural positions. That's why I could be heard throughout the trip yelling "Stop! Don't move!" *click!* "Okay, you can move now!"

The rest I took in my neighborhood when we actually got some sunshine. I captured the looks of pure joy on my young neighbors' faces.
