In 2008, my wonderful grandma gave me a pink point-and-shoot. Since the moment I opened it up, I have taken it nearly everywhere and have been capturing every moment. In the summer of 2009, my computer storing my photos broke and I lost over 1,000 photos, including the ones I had just taken the week before in Alaska! I didn't want to lose any more pictures, so I decided to create a blog to store and share them. I found that I enjoy photography so much that I wanted to take it to the next level. In July of 2011, I got a Sony digital SLR and I absolutely love it. Soon, I hope to purchase a telephoto lens for it.
